What committees can I join?

i-SIGMA offers a variety of committees focused on areas such as events, certification, membership, marketing, and industry initiatives—allowing you to get involved where your interests and expertise align.

Do I need prior experience to join a committee?

No prior committee experience is required. We welcome members at all levels who are interested in contributing, learning, and engaging with the industry.

What is the time commitment?

Most committees meet regularly (typically monthly or quarterly) with occasional project-based work. The level of involvement can vary based on your availability and interest.

What are the benefits of joining a committee?

Committee involvement helps you expand your network, develop leadership skills, gain industry visibility, and contribute to meaningful initiatives that support the profession.

Can committee involvement lead to Board opportunities?

Yes. Serving on a committee is a great way to demonstrate your commitment, build relationships, and gain visibility—often serving as a pathway toward future Board consideration.

How do I get started?

Simply express your interest, and our team will help match you with a committee that aligns with your goals and experience.

Can I serve on more than one committee?

Depending on availability and interest, members may participate in more than one committee, and no more than two. We recommend starting with one to ensure a meaningful and manageable experience.
